Born and raised in Qualicum Beach, Dylan graduated from Kwalikum Secondary School in 2010. Under the continued mentorship and support of Dr. LaCouvée and Dr. Gooch, he knew from a young age he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dylan completed his Microbiology degree in 2014 at the University of Victoria. Following graduation, Dylan spent 3 years working for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans at the Pacific Biological station in Nanaimo, where he had the unique opportunity to live aboard both Coast Guard and contract fishing vessels studying salmon and marine mammals.
He began his dental training in 2018 at the University of British Columbia where his love of general dentistry flourished. After having greatly enjoyed his time at UBC, Dylan couldn’t be happier to be returning to his hometown of Qualicum Beach with his partner, Dr. Aida Mendoza, surrounded by friends and family, Carey (Dycon Construction Ltd.) and Bonnie Conover.
He is eager to embark on a new chapter in the exciting world of dentistry at Arbutus Dental and serve the community that has given him so much. In his spare time, Dylan is an avid martial artist, weight lifter, golfer and can often be found spending time in the surf or on the sand.
